Methylcobalamin is a coenzyme form of Vitamin B12 which is biologically active. It is the form of Vitamin B12 that is active in the central nervous system and is essential for cell growth and replication. Solgar's Methylcobalamin nuggets are taken sublingually (dissolved under the tongue), which means the B12 bypasses the stomach and is absorbed directly into the blood stream.
